A Tilt and Turn window is one in which the sash can be tilted inwards slightly for ventilation or swung (“turned”) inwards for a full 90 degree opening. It will often have a similar appearance to a casement window which swings inward. Of course, we believe these windows offer considerably more value than a standard casement. Tilt and Turns are extremely popular in Scandinavia and are considered the standard choice in many areas due to their flexibility. They also provide a strong air-tight seal when closed, increasing their energy efficiency and long term value.
